WINDOW ILLUSTRATIONS FOR DISTRICT 12 PRE-K SCHOOL IN BRONX, NY

Clients: Gannett Fleming Engineers and Architects, P.C. and the New York City Department of Education
I worked with two architects at Gannett Fleming, who oversaw the project’s vision and installation. After showing initial pitch renderings, they commissioned me to create a series of illustrations for Pre-K students. We decided on a bright color palette that featured a variety of flowers, trees, and animals playing with flying books.

Project: I created six illustrations for the District 12 Pre-K School, located on 1224 Prospect St. Bronx, NY. Originally a retail space with large first floor windows, the Department of Education converted the building into a school and commissioned perforated vinyl window wraps to give the children more privacy from the public street.

  • Illustrations drawn in Procreate and finished in Photoshop

  • Window dimensions: 9’x'9’ and 11’ x 15’.

  • Installation completed in December 2020
